The "new versions" demote God,
as seen in the Lord’s Prayer.
KJV – "Our Father
which art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name."
NASB omits OUR and WHICH ART IN
HEAVEN.
NIV omits OUR and WHICH ART IN
HEAVEN.
These are the very words which
distinguish "Our Father in heaven who delivers us from evil"
from the false god whom Jesus exposed in John 8:44, saying, "Ye
are of your father the devil."
NIV – "Father,
hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily
bread, forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins
against us. And lead us not into temptation." That is it. All
of it.
Any occultist can pray this
prayer. Satanists can pray this prayer.
-
They devalue Jesus Christ.
KJV – I John 2:22, "Who
is a liar; but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ"
Who is "the Morning
Star?" KJV – Rev. 22:16, "I am the root and the offspring
of David, and the bright and morning star."
NIV – NASB – CALL Lucifer
the "morning star" and the star of the morning".
Both these perversions have
removed Lucifer from their text, thereby removing Lucifer from the
entire Bible.
-
The new versions deify man
Alice Bailey said, "The
Christ nature is in every human being." A Hindu guru taught,
"In his real nature man is divine."
NASB – Psalm 8:5 "thou
hast made him a little lower than God." ??????????
NIV –
"You
made him a little lower than the heavenly beings."
KJV – "For Thou hast
made Him a little lower than the angels."
-
The new versions diminish the stigma of
sin.
"fornication" is
changed to "immorality".
"immorality" – does
not describe fornication, which is forbidden.
"whore" and
"whoremonger." Changed to "immoral persons." –
Revelation 21:8
KJV – "and come, take
up the cross, and follow Me."
NASB, RSV, AND NIV –
"take up the cross" are left out,
Matthew 5:44 – this truth is
omitted: "Bless them
that curse you, do good to them that hate you and despitefully use
you."
-
They denigrate Scripture.
Genesis 24:47 -
KJV - "...and I put the earring
upon her face, and the bracelets upon her hands."
NIV – "Then I put the
ring in her nose and bracelets on her arms."
NKJV – SAME.
John 14:2 –
KJV – "In my Father’s
house are many mansions,"
NASB – "In
my Father’s house are many dwelling places"
NIV – "In my fathers’
house are many rooms."
James 5:16
KJV – "Confess your
faults one to another."
NIV – "Confess your
sins to each other."
No, we confess our sins unto
God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
